maddie moate

BAFTA award-winning presenter, science communicator and children’s author, millions of families worldwide will already know Maddie Moate as the star of BAFTA-nominated CBeebies show Do You Know? and from her science and technology YouTube channel for kids.

One of the only female “edu-tubers” in the UK, Maddie’s YouTube channel has over 40 million views and 170k subscribers. Full of fun, family-focused science videos, Maddie inspires hundreds of kids to stay curious about the world around them. The channel is also home to the wildly popular series ‘Let’s Go Live with Maddie and Greg’, a live family science show which helped countless families with homeschooling over lockdown.

Maddie’s charismatic presenting style has seen her front BBC Earth’s Earth Unplugged, BBC’s Springwatch Wild Academy, and items for ITV’s This Morning. In 2020, Maddie launched her podcast, Maddie’s Sound Explorers, with Sony Music. Aimed at 6-12 year olds, the podcast tackles big questions about our world through sound and music.

From September 2021, Show Me The Honey, Maddie’s latest series, airs on CBBC and BBC iPlayer. The show follows wannabe beekeepers as they learn everything there is to know about caring for a hive.

Maddie’s debut children’s book, Stuff: Eco-Stories of Everyday Stuff, is a collection of stories about everyday things and how they are made, used and re-used. The book will be published on 21st October 2021.

Energetic, intelligent and incredible at everything she does, we are so excited to be working with Maddie on all the projects she has coming up.
