THE BRITISH PODCAST AWARDS
We have been working with the original and most prestigious Podcast awards in the UK since they launched in 2017, helping celebrate the best of British podcasts from both independent and household names.
2018’s award ceremony attracted even more industry faces including Fearne Cotton, Josh Widdicombe, Simon Mayo, Cariad Lloyd, Jake Wood, Fi Glover and Evanna Lynch, with our campaign reaching over 12 million people.
For its third year in 2019, the British Podcast Awards were bigger and better than ever before reaching over 72million people through coverage and social media. Celebrating the best podcasts of the last year, the biggest names in the industry were involved in this year’s awards hosted by Cariad Lloyd, including Fearne Cotton, Michael Sheen, My Dad Wrote a Porno, Dustin Lance Black, Peter Crouch, George The Poet, Julia Davis and Vicki Pepperdine, Giovanna Fletcher, Brexitcast, Fortunately with Fi and Jane, You, Me and the Big C, Elizabeth Day and Katie Piper.
Due to Covid-19, 2020’s British Podcast Awards were taken virtual, in a ‘star-studded’ event hosted by Clara Amfo and Rhianna Dhillon. The biggest podcasters and broadcasters were on hand to announce winners of each category and included: Claudia Winkleman, Louis Theroux, Ian Wright, Mel Giedroyc, Chris & Rosie Ramsey, Laura Whitmore, Alan Cumming, Russell Tovey, Tina Daheley, Jessie Ware, Annie Mac, Chris Moyles and George The Poet.
In 2022, the British Podcast Awards returned to London’s Kennington Park and welcomed guests including Idris and Sabrina Elba, Jon Sopel, Lauren Mahon, Diana Vickers, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo.
We are huge podcast fans and delighted to be working with the British Podcast Awards, celebrating the incredible medium of audio.
